2012 Leesburg Bakers Dozen
Finally, the 2012 Leesburg Bakers Dozen race is on!
Will, Tom, and I (More Time Waster Team) partecipated in the 2012 Leesburg Bakers Dozen as a 3 Person Male Geezer.
The Leesburg Bakers Dozen is a 13 hour Mountain biking race held at the 9 mile trail at Shafers Farms in Leesburg. We ended up doing 6 laps each for a total of about 170 miles. We missed doing on last lap because I flatted during my 3rd lap and had to run/ride it.
It was a fun day!!!

2011 mocoepic 100K (16 October 2011)
Tom and I along with 150 other riders participated in the moco epic 100K supported mountain bike ride connecting 9 of the major parks in Montgomery County (MD).
Distance: 68 miles (including a few wrong turns)
Start time: 8:10am
Arrival: 3:53 pm
My ride time 6hr 37min (Does not include the time spent at the aid stations)
Fountainhead Off-Road Duathlon (18 Septmber 2011)
Steph and I did the Fountainhead Off-Road Duathlon in the co-ed category: Steph run 2.5miles + Marco MTB 8miles + Steph run 3.5miles.
We finished 3rd co-ed with the following times:
- Steph 2.5: 23m 46s
- Marco 8: 52m 23s
- Steph 3.5: 38m 01s
- Total: 1h 54m 10s

Laurel Hill after the rains (11 September 2011)
The first canyon on the pictures is on the lowest part of the Pasture Loop on the way to Power Station Loop. Pasted the canyon the rest of the Pasture Loop was either a river or badly washed out. All other trail on the south side were ridable but there are some trees down.
The second canyon is right after the bridge on the Giles Run Meadow trail. I took pictures from inside the canyons. The rocks to cross the Giles Run have moved so it’s difficult (if not impossible) to cross it with bikes.
